All recent consulting services provided by Techviron have revolved around the Internet Pricing and Configurator technical side. Majority of the implementations are based upon versions IPC4.x but lately customers are upgrading to IPC5 CRM7 since SAP has officially stopped supporting IPC4 versions. 

IPC consulting services usually fall into one or more of the following categories.

  • Integration of IPC4.0 or IPC5.0 with external web applications that require a capabilty to configure on the web using SAP underlying Variant Configurator. This allows a company to extend their product offerings on the web to include more complex configurable products.  Companies that already have an investment in SAP VC models, will not need to re-model everything into some other modeling paradigm in order to integrate with existing web applications (e.g. shopping carts).

  • The standard Struts based IPC JSP web pages often require customizations. The changes could be as simple as branding to conform to corporate style or more involved page-flow modifications to provide a staged multi-level configuration experience.  Typically the configurator web GUI is split into a product selection stage followed by a configuration of the specialized KMAT.

  • Migration of IPC JSP customizations from IPC4.0 to IPC5.0 (CRM7 version)
